Bugs Boi, why yuh like trouble so? ah hope yuh know yuh jumping the gun. As it is now yuh cyah disregard Laim song, and when Sharpe music come out, more trouble.
Bugs, Boogsie only making music to play one night. look how he comes out with his music late. music is disposable these days. What you think about "Spirits of the Past".and Ah Groovy Pan Song.?
"Spirits of the Past" is a nice jam that was obviously written for Desperadoes. I'm not sure it's the type of tune Zanda can wrap his head around. Pelham and Exodus have really raised the bar with "De Big Yard" pretty high.
All Stars and Smooth will be coming with "Leave Me Alone". That tune fits them like a glove.
Silver Stars and Liam coming with "Panoramic". That will work for them.
I expect Harmonites to come with "Bass on Fire" since Seion Gomez is one of the writers.
Bj Marcelle is going to be dangerous with "Nostalgia" for La Brea.
And don't forget the Americans will be with Skiffle. I hope they do a young people tune like "People" by Kes. They would rock the Savannah and capture the world.
I can't wait to hear what Supernovas is going with.
Boogsie better not come with a jokey chune. He already come 5th in the International Panorama.
Bugs, XO and Sliver Stars has set the bar but I am confident that Boogsie will represent. Spirits of the Past is not the type of tune that Zanda normally tackle but if he does I see no reason why he can't work his magic.
It's interesting what you said about the Americans because when I heard Kes with People they cane to mind.
I really think there should be a cut-off point for submitting Pan Tunes in order to let all arrangers have access to the new music. It should also be mandatory that large bands choose new music.
Any large band that play old music should be sent to be the opening act for the pan around the neck category. They not ready for "Prime Time".
Remember for 2015, Boogsie get licks in Trinidad, New York, UK and come 5th as far as I am concerned in the International Panorama. Are you sure he shouldn't be following Kobe? LOL
The Americans have to do what they do best and open the panorama with a fresh look and approach.
Bugs: Every time you rewind and replay DE BIG YARD -- I rewind and replay PANORAMIC. Ah wake up this morning trying to figure out what I am trying to figure out every time I listen to that song ONE MORE TIME.
Ah think ah have to have a little chat with Adrian Jaikaran (The Producer) to discuss some of his production tactics. He is only 21 years old. He could be a danger next year with the right advisors around him.
Claude you made me go back and listen again to Panoramic. I agree with you Adrian has a bright future as a producer. I just hate his choice of voice for the brass parts. Other than that, this was not bad at all. I wonder who chose the singer?
There is hope for the future production of calypso/soca/pan-tunes.

XO have to deliver. But if we have to see "dust in their face" they have laid the gloves down for sure!!! https://whensteeltalks.ning.com/page/the-biggest-yard

Cecil name the last Boogsie chune you played after panorama? Tell Boogsie come after the big bad XO with their tune.
There are about ten real nice tunes this year in this batch. I would love to hear Bass on Fire, Sweetest Escape, Musical Chairs in some capable hands.

I was thinking the something it seems a little off from the music Zanda does.
