Desperadoes champion arranger, Carlton "Zanda" Alexander is recovering well and is likely to be discharged from the San Fernando General Hospital on Tuesday, three days after he was warded.

"At the age of 66 years old, Zanda (wearing all white in photo) needs to pace himself and he needs rest because he’s clearly overworked,” Akinola Sennon, captain of the Siparia Deltones, who has worked with Zanda for at least 19 years, told TTRN.

"He was not eating properly and was dehydra...ted. That took a toll on him and I had to take him to the hospital."

Just to emphasize his point , Sennon recalled, “When Zanda is working on music, he hardly sleeps. He would just go, go,go. Sometime he would lie down at 4 am and won’t be able to get a line (of music ) out of his head and would eventually throw in the towel and do the music. Just like that, he would start another day, with no sleep."

"And he’s been going like this for years," Akinola said, insisting that Zanda needs to slow down.
