New tune for 2016 by bugs... Can my forum buddies add a verse and chorus?
In retrospect, Diaz was elected by the small bands. They are the step children that no one wants but exists with artificial support.
In reality there have been only two bands in the last 10 years outside of the large band category that have merited or generated any serious musical interests by the steelband world. That would be Silver Stars and Supernovas. You could make an argument for Deltones with Zanda but they blew themselves up.
It is not by coincidence that Silver Stars moved to the larger band category and Supernovas has been planning to move to the large band category for a couple of years now.
Let's face it, the large bands are the energy and interest of steelpan industry in Trinidad and Tobago and they didn't vote for Diaz.

Thanks for the compliments but like all music and entertainment its a business.
This song is called Pan Man’s Fantasy it’s a Steel band song that can include a pan solo in the Intro, moving into some Orisha drumming or a heavy bass line with the pan soloing in the background during the chorus. All subject to modification.
I have written three verses to the song, any music producer interested can reach me via WST.
