I mean how TENS OF THOUSANDS of IMMIGRANTS/EXPATS play PAN IN AMERICA (which they have done for decades) and have not yet BROKEN THROUGH. But still the LOCAL PAN PLAYERS keep thinking that they have SO MUCH to OFFER to GLOBAL PAN MUSIC in terms of BREAKING THROUGH.
I tell yuh!!! I am very old (by COVID standards -- although it CANNOT TOUCH ME) and I don't understand any of the modern texting terminology like SMH. But THAT BACKWARDNESS in terms of making PAN MUSIC for GLOBAL AUDIENCES by the LOCALS and the EXPATS/IMMIGRANTS has me SMFH!!!
Because they do not even have THE FOGGIEST CLUE as to the FUNDAMENTALS!!!

When ANDY NARELL came out of FANTASY STUDIOS in BERKELEY, CA after recording that song -- he handed me a GREY CASE with a VHS TAPE inside and told me to go home and listen to this -- I was my usual PAN CRITIC SELF ... but after listening to it decades ago ... I have still not yet RECOVERED!!!
