Underlying the Sanchoce discussion are two issues no one has addressed:
1. T'dad is the mecca of the Caribbean. There may be as many people of Grenadian, Vincentions, Doinicians, Guyanese, Haitian, etc descent as there are of T'dadian descent. The dish Sanchoce is common among descendants of slaves in the Caribbean.
2. The nonsense of shortage of pan players.
I see this as one of the most critical problems facing the pan movement: too many bands, not enough players. There needs to be a serious rationalization. I say one band per player. Some bands will have to go out of business, but that's the nature of the game--only the strong survive.
Imagine Pan Trinbago and the government allowing bands to use as many as 20 players from France, St. Vincent, Japan, etc in Panorama.
Each steelband should have a full complement of registered players for the category in which they compete. Players should be registered in one band only. Otherwise Panorama should not be the forum to redistribute tax payers' dollars to pan players in some equitable manner.

Pan players have not gotten a stipend since 2018. Beverly stopped that when she assumed office.
