Yet, THE STEELBAND COMMUNITY chose to vote BACKWARD BEVERLEY INTO OFFICE.
It was a WIDE OPEN OPPORTUNITY for an ADMINISTRATIVE STEELBAND REVOLUTION that could have JUMPSTARTED PAN TRINBAGO into a GLOBAL FORCE FOR PAN.
Instead, THE STEELBAND COMMUNITY chose to vote BACKWARD BEVERLY INTO OFFICE.
And where were these voices who want to write and design all these PIE IN THE SKY articles about PAN (YARD) PROGRESS -- today? Where were they then?
Over A BILLION DOLLARS has been spent on PAN TRINBAGO over THE DECADES and what do we have beside $60,000,000 in debt and a NIGHTMARE CONSTRUCTION SITE in TRINCITY and thousands of PAN PLAYERS still waiting for MILLIONS OF DOLLARS in PERFORMANCE FEES that will never be paid.
BEVERLEY RAMSEY-MOORE ran a BLUFF CAMPAIGN promising to turn PANYARDS into CENTERS OF EXCELLENCE -- how much of that promise has she delivered? And don't forget the 5 MILLION INVESTMENT in TOBAGO PANORAMA that was supposed to bring TENS OF TOURISTS from all over the world and TENS OF MILLIONS OF DOLLARS to TOBAGO.
Before people write their PIE IN THE SKY CRAP -- they should ask themselves a very serious question: What contribution can I make to PAN PROGRESS -- IN THE YARD OR IN THE STUDIO?
