Educate before you Vaccinate
By Aquil Arrindell
I am advocating that the government allocate a quota of the country’s vaccines for our members. However, I am urging our membership to be mindful of two things; Not everything that is being offered is for you and vaccination discrimination should not be tolerated at all among us, or even in spaces we operate.
Although the intended result of all Covid-19 vaccines is the same, which is to prepare your body to fight off the virus, there are different approaches to the making of the vaccines. These approaches may work for you or not. There has been a huge percent of persons who took the vaccines and all ended well with them. However, a small percentage fall extremely ill and sometimes died as a result. Do your due diligence so that you can minimize your risk of falling in the unsuccessful percent.
We are all more exposed to information and as a result, there is mistrust in the vaccines for various reasons. Due to this, one may not, at this time, feel comfortable taking any vaccine. There are also some people who cannot take the vaccine for various health and religious reasons. Whatever their circumstance is, we must not allow the unvaccinated to feel uncomfortable or to not have the same opportunities as the vaccinated. According to our health officials, both vaccinated and unvaccinated can catch and spread Covid-19. Based on information from mainstream media, the unvaccinated are more of a threat to themselves, by their own choice. However, the right of having that choice should be extremely important to all of us.
Do your research, reach out to people who have the information and make your decision because, the pan movement prefers you alive and healthy than talking about what a good panist you were. Educate before you vaccinate. Stay blessed, stay safe and stay alive.
