  • We talk too much more than we THINK. After all these years managing Pan should be like eating pie! Forward thinking like what Jay wrote.

  • The socio-economic impact of Carnival in T&T is taken for granted in many quarters, where pan is concerned and that value should not be disrespected in the ill-manner displayed for some years now.  With the right leadership who knows how "parllay and parley" on behalf of the interest of the pan workers they purport to represent, maybe, just maybe, we can move this Pan Movement forward...

  • How many bands are involved? It may be better for them to stay home and divide that huge expense. Everyone wins.
    • Then bring the 1st three winners in each category to Trinidad to participate in the finals..Then, maybe all the joyriding should cease.

    • patrick ramdoo, I said that in a post I made before.

      • It takes a Fatima grad to figure that out.

  • THANKS VERY MUCH.

  • Carnival is a huge generator of foreign exchange money for T&T.

Invest is we culture for Tourist Dollars to stimulate the economy!!!

  • According the Minister  Dr. Dolly " unofficial estimates put the figure for gate receipts for Panorama competitions at over $10 million for 2016."  http://www.guardian.co.tt/news/2017-01-06/govt-closes-financial-ta

The length of time it took to resolve that issue for Tobago (2.7 million) is mind boggling. Don't know how disbursements are prioritized. Between gate receipts, broadcast rights, internet streaming PPV, leasing space on the Panorama stage its hard to believe 2016 Panorama showed no PROFIT.
