Twenty five youths were presented with certificates on Sunday for successfully participating a training exercise hosted by the Sion Hill Euphonium Steel Orchestra during the summer vacation.
The students were presented with certificates and awards during the 13th Annual Graduation Ceremony.
Speaking at the ceremony, Manager of the Sion Hill Euphonium Steel Orchestra, Warren Knights noted that playing the steel pan is important in the development of children and goes a long way in complementing their academics.
President of the Youlou Pan Movement, Oneka Morgan congratulated the Sion Hill Euphonium Steel Orchestra for achieving the milestone of hosting the training course for the past 20 years.
And, Mr. Corey Garrett, a representative from FLOW in his remarks, pledged Flow’s commitment to continue supporting not only the Sion Hill Euphonium Steel Orchestra but also the Sion Hill community.
