Trinidad & Tobago, W.I.- Thirteen children who travelled to Argentina to play the national instrument in a concert are expected to return today.
Some $500,000 towards the trip has been paid by the State, parents and private citizens, said Roland Riley, treasurer for the Exocubs Youth Orchestra, based in Tunapuna.
Under the guidance of Desmond Waite, the group was invited to perform at the Iguazu en Concierto Grand Orchestra and Choir. The annual concert was established last year and is part of a six-day festival attended by the children aged 12 to 15 years old. read more
