Sorry to criticize, but is it necessary to have When Steel Talks post Facebook updates everytime someone comments on a topic? I find it a little invasive. I enjoy seeing when new topics are added, but when "so and so commented on..." or "this one is now friends with that one" fills my Facebook page, it's frustrating.
Is there any way to update the settings here to restrict this activity somewhat?
Thank you,

Doesn't matter *what* FB does as their 'default' action, Corey -- the notification settings are entirely up to the individual user.
You can turn any or all of them on or off, at your own descretion.....
May I suggest you click on you own profile settings and on the left hand side click on Email.
You will then have the opportunity to select what you wish to be notified about and more importantly how often.
Good Luck
Thank you for your reply, Randisc. My concern is not over email, but rather the Facebook notifications. For example, instead of seeing replies under a started topic, a new topic pops up indicating that someone replied to it. As well, notifications appear when any user updates their profile, or someone becomes friends on When Steel Talks... so many things that in my opinion don't really warrant a press release.
I do notice it was different a couple weeks ago when Facebook would advise that new videos were posted, or new topics were started. I enjoyed that. But now new Facebook topics are started for every interraction. At least, that is what I am observing on Facebook.
Thanks again.
