Fatima student gets head-start for Pan tuning career

This course has opened my eyes to the opportunities in the world of pan. I am going to use this experience as a stepping stone to fulfill my objectives,” said an elated Francis, 14, a student of Fatima College, and a player with Valley Harps Steel Orchestra since the age of seven.

  • Makes my heart feel great. Good to know that the steel pan is continuing to be a treasure and more to the youth of our country and the world. That recognition and love is more important to the sustained evolution of this instrument than the support of the politicos. It anchors it to the forever pulse of life.
  • I said it once, anyone can check the MAIN,, on this website,,,a school needs to be established  for  this purpose with all cosf covered  by the Government ofT&T.,
    • I certainly agree there should be a reputable pan tuning school.... whether or not not the govt. funds it.
