Let's do the mathematics correctly. Renegades won its 9th Panorama in 1997, and its 10th in 2018. Which means that Renegades' drought years were; 1998, 1999, 2000, 01, 02, 03, 04, 05, 06, 07, 08, 09, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16 and 2017 which amounts to (20). We cannot compromise HISTORY. Love Peace and Pan.
It has been 21 years since Renegades last heard their called out at champions on Panorama night.
He was going good with the counting -- but then when he reach 2017 ... he leave out the whole year between 2017 and 2018 to make it 21 (20 + 1)!!!
Can't argue with the judging this year. Congrats to Duvone and Renegades. Skiffle was impressive.
Congratulations to Renegades they deserve the crown..Congrats to Invaders as well the Judges got that one right too. I don't know about Silver Stars and All Stars sharing the 5th place ..Is it because they played the tune.
All Stars should have been in the 4th position

Congrats to Duvone and Renegades! Long time coming, well deserved!
Toronto's own Glenford Peters picked Renegades to go "all the way" during the prelims.
Well done Renegades! Congrats Duvone!
I think for once the points reflected the performances on the night. The judges were spot on.
The music/songs were quite ordinary this year.
I think next year we may be back to the own tune syndrome but with a little twist. Arrangers may have to get clever and start composing some tune-full SOCA songs. Collaborations with the hope that radio stations will play their music.
Thus making it easily recognisable.
Congrats to Renegades - played first and won, a feat in itself. The point spread between first and the rest is in keeping with the performances I heard. Congrats to Skiffle (#Southern Pride!) for moving up the order from semis. Good show to all contestants.
Good morning Mr. Copeland. Glad to see your posting on this forum. Congratulations are indeed in order to the winners, finalists, pan community, but especially to the very talented and commited players. Thanks to Pan Times and When Steel Talks for keeping pan alive especially to those of us who experienced last night in cold environs. Lol...... Charmaine, Brooklyn, NY.
