odw: Johann Chuckaree has ALL THE ELEMENTS in place to lead the project that I am suggesting. He has the TECHNICAL BACKGROUND as demonstrated in this video and many other articles I have read about him. He has the FORMAL MUSICAL BACKGROUND. He has the PAN YARD BACKGROUND. He has the PERFORMANCE and MASTERY of THE INSTRUMENT BACKGROUND. He has the EDUCATION and COMMUNICATION SKILLS necessary for the role. And most of all he has the HUMILITY (and BROUGHTUPCY).
He will need some refreshing of the TRINIDAD MIND SET (that will take a certain amount of exposure on the outside).
Yet, personally, I don't like his approach to the PAN. But I am sure that could be fixed once he gets in the company of some PROFESSIONAL STUDIO MUSICIANS -- if he is prepared to listen and learn.
When we talking Pan music compositions for global appreciation and consumption; are we talking pan in collaboration with conventional instruments OR are we talking steel orchestras? BIG DIFFERENCE.

But with INDIGISOUNDS and all the MODERN TECHNOLOGY, a lot of very creative things could be done with the DIGITAL STEEL ORCHESTRA to market THE REAL THING!!!
