Mi just love pan period in all of its incarnations, but the original T&T steelpan is my true joy. Handpan is still a steelpan at the end of the day;
a bastard, red-headed step child though it may be, however I feel like it needs to be brought back into the steelpan family as some unscrupulous characters a gwaan like dem want to divide and conquer and take steelpan credits that do not rightfully belong to them!
This is part of what being a Pan Ambassador is all about as far as I am concerned!
p.s. I read the article you sent me and the *ahem* ''white-washing'' of Hollyweird is nothing new! It goes on even in the steelpan industry as well!
Rudy: If the so-called PAN LOVERS on this forum had the SAME PASSION for PAN as you have for the HAND PAN -- PAN would have been RULING THE MUSIC WORLD.
