musical moment: Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar tries her hand on a tenor pan after it was presented yesterday to Australia Prime Minister Julia Gillard at the Duxton Hotel in Perth, Australia. Persad-Bissessar is in Australia for the Commonwealth Heads of Government meetings.

    The steel pan is a legacy for future generations......its like having the chains of enslavement removed.......whatever that enslavement.......music can be heard even through steel!!xx x

    was short of 2 more...xx its within a humble bug's life, that the importance of pan will be grow ....it is just being ready to grab that opportunity when given!!.xxx

    getting recognised is like putting a whole peanut onto an ants back.!!..but it can happen..so the pan is becoming quite important in the music world..so maybe the government of TnT will back their mission by making a statement..worldwide....x

    since Australia was separated from the African Continent over 500,000 years ago and more..perhaps the aboriginis left on the Australian continent...lots in common with Africa..maybe the aboriginal music could be enhanced with pan and the digiridoo playing together in harmony.......any ideas....!!!!!!
