GOAT RACE & BLUE FOOD FESTIVAL for Trinidad.

Dear Ms. Beverley Ramsey- Moore,

I hope that all is well in Black Rock. I want to congratulate you on your ability to, well for want of a better term, be a comic (jokey), which I never knew you were, someone "who does" TALK PLENTY SHIT, an attribute that I believe is absolutely necessary considering the hat you wear in this context, and especially as it relates to what The Trinidad and Tobago NEWSDAY is reporting in the following hyperlink Let Tobago host a Panorama final.

Initially, I was unable to fathom the logic behind the editior's choice of words to headline the article, as i detected only a suggestion that may have escaped while you were being interviewed. However, after reading the article in it's entirety, for you to suggest in two successive paragraphs that;

  • you intend to take this up with the THA,
  • you believe that you can raise more revenue,
  • it will be a movement of thousands of people from Trinidad to Tobago
  • it will require a movement of people from Tobago into one space

Concluding with the following statement,

  • "...and I don't think that should pose any challenge for any region in this country".

Encouraged me to suggest that we shift;

  1. The Goat Races (From Bucoo) To Santa Rosa Park Arima.
  2. The Blue Food Festival (From Bloody Bay) To Biche.

Firstly, because I believe that the infrastructure at the ARC would be much more user friendly for the goats.

Secondly, considering the volume of Dasheen that is cultivated, and thrives in the natural conditions in that area of the Nariva Swamp.

WE may both be on to something madam, although I suspect it may be more practical, economical and exponentially less challenging to follow through on my suggestions of shift in venue for indigenous events, than those that The Trinidad NEWSDAY is reporting you advocated.

Yours respectfully.

Russell Providence.
