Guys I am going to Notting Hill Carnival for the first time and I need the Pan people to give me some tips and resources for checking out the Pan scene: the panorama the J'Ouvert and the routes taken. Also if you know of any non-hotel accommodations pls let me know. Someone from the U.K. emailed me and said they know of a lovely area hotel, the Hilton. lol. On principle a pan person CANNOT stay at the Hilton.

Just a word of advice. Do yourself a favor and on Carnival Day, DO NOT stick around until the end. When the sun begins to set it is time to leave. You would be surprised to know some of the horrendous acts of barbarism that are committed against innocent bystanders after sun-down every year. I know of which I speak, as I have been to that even a several times. Peace!
