But my biggest agenda will be CREATING A DATABASE OF EXPATS so that we could MARKET PRODUCTS to them. And we need a REAL GOOD website which could be accessed directly by EXPATS worldwide!!!
And I will identify ONE TALENT down in TRINIDAD who I think could be GROOMED to perform for INTERNATIONAL audiences (it is not as simple as it seems to the LOCALS) like my TWO OTHER YANKEE HEROES DO.

Regarding the abovementioned matter, please be advised that out of a reconvened meeting at Northern Region Offices last Thursday, a resolution was passed and motion carried, regarding no entertainment of any discussion to any aspect pertaining to Panorama 2018, until such time as all outstanding remittances to players are properly overdue are promptly paid. Accordingly my orchestra is stalemated by the ultra vires requirements of this deadline, for which there is no constitutional requirement, for compliance, to take part at this stage; against the consensus taken in our Region's firm position by vote.
In other related matters, on behalf of Power Stars Steel Orchestra, we wish to indicate that we unanimously concur with this course of action via petition, as guided by the organization's Constitution, and shall acquiesce ourselves to this collective effort. Our best bet is to have a petition drawn up of a majority of its members as the abovementioned, present it to H.E the President of PANTRINBAGO and ALSO present it to the line Minister.
It may be interesting to note, that The Freedom of Information Act of 1999 objective is to extend the right of members of public to access to information in the possession of public authorities by.....public authority classification in PanTrinbago's particular case (clause K. Subsection (iii)); a body corporate which is supported, directly or indirectly, by Government funds and over which Government is in a position to exercise control.
Government has problems getting Pan Trinbago to account for the pittance it gives to them. I therefore think that one will succeed with that in some measure via Culture Ministry Audit which is well underway.
The question arises as to whether PT is supported "wholly" by public funds and whether Government is in a position to exercise control over it.
His Excellency the President of Pan Trinbago, Mr. Diaz will ignore a FOIA request and what will one do after that? The only thing one can do then is take them to Court. But then again it is already under the preview of judicial review before Justice Vashiest Kokaram to be delivered along a timeline, parallel to its line ministry forensic review.

And that would take some thought and discussions in terms of what data elements we are going to include. And right now you know that KEITH DIAZ have control of all those identities.
So I still see the first step as REPEALING AND REPLACING KEITH DIAZ. Even though many people see PAN TRINBAGO as tainted -- I still believe in the brand. As it is already ALL IN PLACE. Now the way I see it is that the CIP run KIETH DIAZ out of PAN TRINBAGO and then start to rebuild the positive image. That is simple enough. In the process they could approach certain TECH COMPANIES in Trinidad and get them to build them a FUNCTIONAL WEBSITE along with transferring the 10,000 PAN PLAYERS names into the GROUND FLOOR of the GLOBAL DATABASE starting right there in the MECCA.
Once the website is up and functional then we could start the process of attracting and adding EXPATS through that platform. For example, that BOMB TUNE discussion you put up drew thousands of readers and over two hundred responses. Suppose GERARD CLARKE selected 12 of those songs and put a CD together (I would modernize the performances with today's PANS) and then its put up for sale on the NEW PAN TRINBAGO WEBSITE and the right marketing was done we might end up selling about 10,000 of those CDs over a few years and all those buyers will automatically get added to the database. Even other products (like unique STEELBAND PRODUCTS -- I would buy a SILVER STARS T-SHIRT in a minute) could be marketed with the same objective and result.
This WHEN STEEL TALKS WEBSITE has proven that EXPATS have a passion for PAN and they want to be linked to the process in numerous ways. Not to mention all the HIGHLY SKILLED AND PLACED EXPATS around the world who are dying to make a contribution to TRINIDAD in GENERAL -- and PAN in PARTICULAR.
So Mr. Gregory Lindsay has to add this new dimension to HIS LEADERSHIP. The prevailing KEITH DIAZ mentality of how to use the organization to full your pockets on every project has to come to an end; and small projects that DO SOMETHING FOR PAN could be pursued with vigor by good-hearted pan people. And the best way to signal this change is to make sure that ANYONE who has ever served on the PAN TRINBAGO EXECUTIVE before should not be allowed to hold a position again under this new dispensation.
