HELLO ANGEL HARPS MEMBERS CARLYLE ROBERTS, BETTER KNOWN AS ROBBIE PASSAWAY TODAY, ROBBIE WAS A MEMBER OF ANGEL HARPS FOR OVER 30 YEARS AND MADE AN INVALUABLE CONTRIBUTION TO THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE STEEL ORCHESTRA. MAY HIS SOULD REST IN PEACE!

My sincere condolences to all the members of Angel Harps while i have been associated with band whenever i am in Grenada Robbie have always looked after me and our association and friendship between Ebony steel Band and Angel Harps was sparked by him when we first met at the world festival in Trinidad in 2000 so please pass on from all of us here in UK our sincere condolences.

Some people do have the same name. Coincidentally I have a very good friend whose name is Carlyle Roberts from Trinidad and he is also a musician. He is an arranger with Roy Cape All Stars also did a little stint with a steel band. So when I saw the name Carlyle Roberts.  my heart skipped two beats. This Carlyle Roberts I do not know But to the members of the Grenada Angel Harps  my condolences to you all and top the family of the late Carlyle Roberts. Comming from a fellow pannist in Tobago.
