Griffith leads Despers once again
Trinidad & Tobago, W.I. - Pan arranger Beverly Griffith will once again take control of Witco Desperadoes for 2011.
This is due to the unavailability of arranger, composer for the past few years Robert “Robbie” Greenidge, whose commitments with the Los Angeles-based Jimmy Buffett band will keep him away from Despers for a period of one month during the Carnival season.

good music don't win panorama anymore... it's all about who makes the most noise along with a bunch of stupid antics, lean to the left then to the right, duck under your pans and have someone in front the band behaving like a monkey pretending he is a musical conductor. Since when panorama bands need conductors. Monkey see monkey do. This is what it's all about these days, no more intelligent music, seems like that died with Bradley and the further we are from the day he died the worst the music get. No more measuring stick.
But I won't give up hope yet and let's see what Bev have left in him... Despers stay up d hill, please....
Thanks for the observation but we must be very carefull when we make statements negatively for it was the same Bradely who started the conducting of panorama music.
this is good news ... remember Despers oin 1966? ... with excerpts from The Souind of Music, Flight of the Bumble Bee, Yesterday, etc.

If and this is a very big If. They get judges who know music and appreciate Beverly music,then Beverly and Despers,
