I woul like to extend my sincerest apologies to the family and relatives of Slinger "Mighty Sparrow" Francisco, as well as his relatives, friends, colleagues, and numerous fans worldwide, for my being a part of the rumor mill surrounding his passing. I can assure you all that I had no malicious intent in making my premature announcement on the internet (WST and Facebook). As a huge fan, I was ripped to the story of his being in a coma, and wanted to share any latest updates. Sometimes, in reporting a story, the reporter relies on "credible" or "reliable" sources, and my sources are within Sparrow's close circle. I learned a VERY important lesson; I went away from my standard of vetting stories that come to me, and I accept FULL responsibility for my snafu. I am happy that this time I was wrong, because like ALL of us, I too, am not ready for the Birdie to fly away from us. We need to show our continual support to his family in this time, and they ask that we respect their privacy. Again, I am sorry for any pain my postings may have caused, and continue to wish Sparrow a full and speedy recovery.

Hey,Ghost: Putting our "CONTRAPOLARITY" aside, why don't you write a nice long eulogy on SPARROW for the WST forum. Yuh know!!! Quote some lyrics, outline your family relationship, pick your favourite songs, express your views on THE MAN, and dat kinda ting.
I eh too big on the PAN TING but I truly love CALYPSO ... and SPARROW deserves THE GHOST AT HIS BEST.
So: GO FOR IT!!! It cyar be TOO LONG for me!!!
