Why I choose to be a candidate? After I expressed no interest in executive office many times. I said this to many who approached me to join slates, but having some concerns, I realized that I had to offer myself as an INDEPENDENT CANDIDATE for TRUSTEE.
I am committed to placing the membership and the association's welfare, over and above any partisan interest, but bandleaders must also be committed to attend meetings and ask questions, and demand proper answers about their band and players business.

"Not for office, merry, NOT for office....." but since I came back and have been attending meetings, I have seen the malaise that have encouraged what we complain about.
