I was introduced to Salah,a Trinidadian,on St Catherine St near to Eatons in Montreal,by the late Edmund "Sadman" Charles,the brother of the late Rudolph "The Hammer" Charles,where he used to beat pan in the summer,and in the subway in the winter,to support his family.
He later started a band with his family called "Salah and family",and played at venues around Montreal.He later started a pan school,and taught pan in many schools,and community centres in and around Montreal,with the assistance of the Quebec Govt.This guy lives pan.
