I get the feeling that there is going to be a PUSH to move THE EVENT to an EARLIER MONTH in the year. And KENNY PHILLIPS said something that I kept away from saying (because I am always complaining about SOMETHING). But he said that there were TOO MANY BANDS in the FINALS and that after you LISTEN TO TWELVE BANDS -- who would want to listen to more. He suggested 16 BANDS in the FINALS -- I would say TWELVE!!!
The PAY-PER-VIEW AUDIENCE hovered in the EIGHTIES and the TTT AUDIENCE topped off around FOUR HUNDRED. While the LIVE AUDIENCE was LESS THAN EXPECTED. So there has to be a more concerted EFFORT to MARKET THE PRODUCT.
PAN TRINBAGO could take a BIG STEP FORWARD by providing the PAN WORLD with some FINANCIAL REPORTS on this MAJOR SCHEDULING CHANGE. But I would not bet on that happening, even though it can open a LOT OF DOORS.
Forward we MARCH to SMALL BANDS IN DECEMBER and an EARLY FINALS in January. I will say one thing: If the SINGLE PAN BANDS sounded so much like FULL ORCHESTRAS -- then PAN FANS are in for AN EVEN BIGGER TREAT with THE SMALL BANDS!!!
But HOW DO WE MAKE IT PROFITABLE?

Let's call a spade a spade. The single pan panorama in November was a failed experiment.

HOWEVER, Pan Trinbago's ground game and internet game is poor. Very Poor!
Let's be truthful. Folks are not interested in Single Pan Bands.
The whole Single Pan band stuff was a Patrick Arnold scam.
Musically it makes no sense. Like Mr. Jules said about the subject "we have move past that a long time ago".
The only place for single pan bands is in Jouvert morning. Let them flood the streets of Port of Spain for carnival. Or put them in the museum.

bugs: I fully expect the BEVERLEY SUPPORTERS to be hailing this show A MASSIVE SUCCESS and DEY CYAR WAIT TIL NEXT YEAR when it will only be BIGGER and BETTER.
They will even predict PAY-PER-VIEW to GLOBAL AUDIENCES bringing in MILLIONS to PAN TRINBAGO.
Doh believe that I did NOT SEE THE SPADE (like the BIG INVESTMENT with NO RETURN) but is FREE TAXPAYERS MONEY DEY SPENDING (LOSING!!!) and PAN TRINBAGO doh even have to ACCOUNT FOR IT.
Trinidad don't like Single Pan bands. Trinidad don't even support small bands. Trinidad don't come to see Medium band Panorama. Trinidad is large band country. That is just the facts.
Has anyone ever bought a single pan band CD or DVD?
I agree with all your comments, having to judge 21 bands is brutal.
