I am not REALLY SURPRISED!!! But because I grew up IN THE MIDDLE of the TWO DOMINANT CULTURES I don't have the INHERENT PREJUDICES and was in a position to hear thoughts from both sides of the divide never forgetting who I was.
I know that people take offense on this forum when I say that I did NOT COME TO TRINIDAD on a boat. But it does make A BIG DIFFERENCE in how you view THE ISLAND.
