I keep HEARING about the BILLIONS that Pan could BRING into TRINIDAD. But when I start LOOKING, I start seeing $34,000,000 in PAN TRINBAGO debt.

Yes Sir, I have been saying for years,that there is a need ,number one,,,for pan tuners to come up with STANDARDIZED Pan,,,,a piano is a piano every where on the planet,same for guitars, trumpets etc,,,,,, it's only Pan that's different every where,,,,,,,,As I have said before a Panist should be able to travel the world , without toting around a set of six or seven Bass,or four pans even second pans,,,,, that's one of the main reasons for bands not being able to get tours abroad, as it costs to much to carry and then transport and store those pans , especially Bass,tenor Bass,four pans, CHELOS,guitar pans etc. Also as Claude rightly said there is an urgent need for a Pan tuning school,as the older tuners are slowly leaving this Planet. The tuners have to forget this EGO THING,,,,and start teaching the young people the art of Pan Tuning,and get a Standardized solution for ALL THE VARIOUS PAN SECTIONS. PAN WILL NEVER GET ANYWHERE UNLESS THIS IS DONE,,,,,so that I can go to Sweden and just rent a Bass set or a Chelo set etc. ,,And just perform. I really thought that with the forming of PanTri nbago by now these things would have been in place,,,,, Another Country is going to make those things happen if TNT doesn't take the Frontline and JUST DO IT.
