NOT A WORD from THE ORGANIZATION after NINE MONTHS!!! And her big claim to fame is the PAN FACTORY which is a KEITH DIAZ accomplishment. Now is true that DIAZ and FORTEAU tief out every cent from that venture just like they tief out every penny from every corner of PAN TRINBAGO.
But from the first day that KEITH DIAZ took office I was told to WATCH OUT. Because KEITH DIAZ had bankrupted ('TIEF OUT" is a more local term) every organization he ever controlled and that he was going to BANKRUPT PAN TRINBAGO. When you get a VALID LENS like that to observe a political candidate -- behavior becomes easy to read. So every step that KEITH DIAZ ever take and every move that KEITH DIAZ make ... I know that it was to FILL HIS POCKET.
Then comes BEVERLEY with the BIG 1O-POINT MANIFESTO!!! And ah get ah next HEADS-UP telling me that BEVERLEY only using PAN TRINBAGO as a stepping stone to become a MINISTER OF GOVERNMENT from TOBAGO.
Well dem fellahs accurate again.
So nine months gone and all I could hear from BEVERLEY RAMSEY-MOORE is year-round PANORAMA (because she know that PAN PEOPLE obsessed with PANORAMA -- go on them forums and all big old men could talk about is PANORAMA) and MOVING THE MEDIUM BANDS FINALS to TOBAGO. And big big intelligent people clapping and saying that is the GREATEST MOVE THAT THEY EVER SEE A PAN TRINBAGO PRESIDENT MAKE. And as far as BEVERLEY is concerned -- all she is really doing is SCORING POINTS with TOBAGO VOTERS.
So this NEW LENS that dem fellahs give me have BEVERLEY running TRUE TO FORM.
But what about PAN PROGRESS in THE MECCA? What about the PAN PLAYERS who get EXPLOITED EVERY PANORAMA? Suppose 20 PAN PLAYERS out of the 6000 open their eyes ONE YEAR and say that they taking all the time that they would have invested in PANORAMA and work together to produce an EXTENDED PLAY PAN ALBUM for GLOBAL DISTRIBUTION; and ah next twenty say that they are going to invest that time SOURCING FUNDS to finance the music project and another 20 say that they will invest that PANORAMA TIME into developing market strategies to get the PAN MJSIC OUT THERE ... wouldn't that be a more PROGRESSIVE APPROACH to the LOCAL DEVELOPMENT of PAN MUSIC than going and getting exploited in the PANORAMA where all the money stays in the HANDS OF THE PAN TRINBAGO EXECUTIVES.
Allyuh know how much these young PAN PLAYERS could learn from a venture like this?
Ah hear on GOOD AUTHORITY that some of the members on the EXECUTIVE are grumbling about the STAGNANCY taking place in PAN TRINBAGO under BEVERLEY RAMSEY-MOORE. But they too "EAT AH FOOD" to come out and start the REVOLUTION that should be taking place in PAN TRINBAGO right now to keep TRINIDAD the MECCA OF THE STEELBAND.
And I am sure that not more that 1 in 5000 PAN LOVERS keep track of what is happening in AMERICA with their PAN MOVEMENT and the TREMENDOUS PROGRESS that they are making. And if the rest of PAN LOVERS continue to let BEVERLEY RAMSY-MOORE tie up their heads with this YEAR-ROUND PANORAMA STUPIDNESS -- well allyuh COO-COO COOK while BEVERLEY RAMSEY-MOORE pimps the pan right under allyuh noses and waltzes her way into the TRINIDAD PARLIAMENT off the back of EXPLOITED PAN PLAYERS.
All the PAN BRAINS in THAT COUNTRY and all they could think about for the whole year is PANORAMA -- ALLYUH COULD DO BETTER THAN THAT!!!

Claude: It's so sad to see that no-one in Trinidad is actively seeking to progress pan outside of the Mecca (and I'm not talking about Tobago). The UK Panorama is coming up next month. Let's see who comes across from Trinidad "in the name of Pan Trinbago" not to promote pan, but on a freebie!!
Watch this space. In about four months time, you will get everyone's views on how best to run Panorama.
Come on everyone. Don't you want better for your National instrument? You can't keep harping on about pan this and pan that and be truly happy to see where it is now ....
One last thing. I was watching the series Jett and in episode 7, there was a calypso playing at the beginning of the episode. However it was Not Me by Robert Mitchum. Imagine if that had been a pan tune .....
