I see it as a very simple and straightforward project which could lead to a lot of NATIONAL GOOD. So I hope that MR. PROVIDENCE does not complicate the process in the early stages. I don't see the acquisition of the EQUIPMENT (ear plugs and hearing test machine) as being difficult. But I do see the delivery of the message as a BIG CHALLENGE.
From one perspective, we are PUTTING BLAME on the STEELBANDS for causing a loss of hearing. Well, Afro-Trinis don't like to hear ANYTHING NEGATIVE about their NATIONAL INSTRUMENT which they say was THE ONLY MUSICAL INSTRUMENT invented in the 20th century -- a FIRST PLACE global achievement. Secondly, YOUNG PEOPLE don't run around thinking about their HEALTH. So to bring the hearing loss consciousness to them in ONE PRESENTATION seems a bit of a BIG CHALLENGE.
Which only means that the message has to be well thought out and perhaps modified along the way as the interaction with the players begin to provide useful feedback.
And I can guarantee that if the project gets off the ground that POLITICS will infiltrate it and bring it to a sudden halt. I don't think the TRINIDAD SOCIETY is socially evolved enough at this point to entertain a PROGRESSIVE MOVE like this one.
When this topic was first posted, RUSSELL PROVIDENCE made one of the most insightful reads on KIETH DIAZ that I have ever seen on this forum. So it should be clear to him (as it is to me) that by the time he hits the THIRD SCHOOL and the media starts writing about the PROJECT -- Keith Diaz and PAN TRINBAGO would have come up with a plan to take over the PROJECT and turn it into a corrupt gold mine to fill their personal pockets.
With the POLITICAL CONTROL they have over ROWLEE and DOLLY -- I could see the plug being pulled on RUSSELL PROVIDENCE and the reins handed over to KEITH DIAZ and PAN TRINBAGO along with millions of dollars to implement (I should find a more corrupt verb) national coverage of the PROGRAM.
(If the CHIEF JUSTICE could run a LITTLE HUSTLE on the side, why not KEITH DIAZ and PAN TRINBAGO.)
So, Mr. Providence, I just gave you a FREE CONSULTATION!!! Don't do like THE CIP and ignore my advice and then end up in the KEITH DIAZ CEMETERY.
