If I was in cahoots with the NEW VISIONARIES I would start a CYBER WAR against DIAZ and PAN TRINBAGO. They could bring their abuse and connivance in front of a room full of brainwashed delegates; I could take the war out of that room and into today's global technology. It does not take much brains or skill to do that in 2015 (going on 2016).

Bede, I thought you guys had a bit of knowledge about Pan Trinbago. Mr Morancie is the chairman of the Eastern Region and the stage manager for the 2015 Panorama and the 2015 ICP pan show, a good man and one who had the Cahoots to Run for the post of president as any member of the organisation can.
Mr Bugs, the health of the pan industry as you put it depends on the wealth of the Band. Supernovas has the resources to upgrade,whereas Deltones did not have it so they had to downgrade. Do you know the price of a tenor pan? Many bands have to follow suit, the cost of instruments and upkeep is high, the managers are going through HELL as we speak.
You know Claude, there is something very alarming about this pan situation in Trinidad and Tobago. Almost every member band of Pan Trinbago speaks of their best years in the past. They are quick to remind you of their glory days in the past. They will remind you in a second that this band was once a large band. Outside of Trinidad All Stars, Supernovas and a select few others, which one of them can point to their future as being better than their past.
My boy Merrytones surely remembers when his band was massive and use to rock the Savanah. Almost all the bands in the small and medium categories are but a shell of their past selves. And even some in the large category are fighting to keep up a false face. They can only show videos to the youth remind them of past glory. Many still talk about when their bands rules the road in the past.
So if we are to use their barometer as means of judging the health of the of the Pan industry in T&T one would have to say their best days are behind them.

Bugs, they talk about the past because the present is disappointing and the future seems hopeless, all because there in no leadership, the executive of PT are for themselves, yes they hustle on behalf of the steelband but look at the state of the steelband in the Mecca, this will continue as long as the locals remain silent.
