In ‘defining moment,’ San Francisco to order residents to stay home over coronavirus

Mayor announces drastic measures to curb spread of COVID-19 alongside five other Bay Area counties

With the coronavirus pandemic rapidly spreading throughout communities around the nation, city leaders are taking the unprecedented step of placing San Francisco on lockdown for three weeks beginning Tuesday at midnight.

The City will legally prohibit residents from leaving their homes except to meet basic needs including visiting the doctor, or buying groceries or medicine, until at least April 7, Mayor London Breed announced Monday.

The dramatic restrictions, imposed under a city-issued Public Health Order, will also require non-essential businesses like bars and gyms to close. But pharmacies, banks and other businesses that perform an “essential” role for society will be allowed to remain open.

Well, if the CRISIS is as BAD AS THEY SAY -- in the last two weeks at least 2 million of the SEVEN MILLION BAY AREA RESIDENTS done catch the COVID-19 already. Because allyuh should have seen ALL THE CROWDS at all the stores (7 days a week) within inches of each other in long long lines.

bugs: I have a funny story to tell you. Yesterday I went to the SAFEWAY to buy some HOT CROSS BUNS and the lines and the crowd and the PARKING LOT was like CHRISTMAS EVE DAY. Anyway, ah start walking down this aisle and there is the WOMAN walking towards me while talking on the phone and she is only saying to the person on the other end in a very PUBLIC VOICE: THIS IS BULLSHIT!!! THIS IS ALL BULLSHIT!!!

So as she reached up to me, I looked her and said: NOTHING BUT BULLSHIT. And she stopped talking to the person she was talking to for a second and she looked at me and said: NOTHING BUT BULLSHIT!!!

And then she give me ah HIGH FIVE and she gone she way and I gone mine!!!

TRUE STORY -- but ah hope she eh give me the COVID-19 with that HIGH 5. Whatever THE LIBERAL MEDIA SAY: I know I eh getting that!!!
