While everyone is focusing on "Good Morning", Professor Philmore has dropped a pretty nice alternative, called "Panorama Soldiers". https://whensteeltalks.ning.com/page/panorama-soldiers.
What do guys think?

Sorry Professor....."Good Morning" is it.........made for Pan ......in particular....DESPERS AND RENEGADES.
Bugs, Pro. has a good tune, but yuh know the flag T&T soldier carry is the Red, White and Black. I like the Three Amigos from NY but I have them 4th in the Good Morning derby, they could even be 3rd but I think Zanda and BJ is solid at 1&2.
bugs: One of the criticisms I heard about Professor Philmore's music is that he copies what everybody else does. This song lives out that charge. Beyond that, I don't like the tonality of the vocalist's voice (that tensed throat approach to singing calypso) and I hate when the composers try to compose the panorama production IN THE ORIGINAL CALYPSO.
The song does move but I expect it to come off as a routine performance on PANORAMA NIGHT placing him way down the field.
"Good Morning", on the other hand, is like a mannequin standing there and the arranger ("arrangereeeees") has the latitude to dress up that body with all his musical adornments creating a magical musical spectacle guaranteeing FIRST, SECOND and THIRD PLACE to three of the arrangers who play that song.
Well Mr. Claude. It seems like you are saying that Pro was only robbed once in his career. And that would be the year he did "Pan By Storm". And since everyone knows you have to be robbed at least twice in your career before you can win a Panorama this will not his year.
But seriously the field is real crowed. I don't think Pro can do something we have heard from him before.
Watch out for the Three Amigos from New York with Skiffle. Good Morning is a great tune for them. If they can get Skiffle to adopt the New York bands "we are going to kick you ass attitude", they could make the top three very interesting.
bugs.
