Lucius Alexander of the St Lucia Steelbands Assocation accepts the sponsorship cheque from LIME Corporate Communications Executive, Terry FinisterreSt. Lucia, W.I. -  Panorama is back, and with LIME’s support, it’s guaranteed to be one of the biggest and most spectacular pan extravaganzas to be staged in St Lucia for a long time.

Eight bands are down to perform at the event scheduled for Friday July 15th at the Beausejour Cricket Grounds. They include three in the Small Bands category and five in the Large Bands category. It’s the first time that a category has been created especially for small bands.

LIME is, and has been a major sponsor of Panorama and has provided cash contribution of $10,000 towards the event. The company has been a loyal supporter of Panorama and steel band music in St Lucia for many years, as well as a title sponsor of LIME Diamond Steel, St Lucia’s most celebrated pan orchestra.

“It’s great that Panorama is returning after a 2-year absence. We are proud to be teaming up with the St Lucia Steel Bands Association once again, to support our community steel bands and help further the development of carnival and St Lucia’s great pan tradition,’ said Chris Williams, VP of Country Operations for St. Lucia.
