Trinidad Newsday

Fear has led to Japanese people virtually blanking TT Carnival this year, almost two years after one of their own, Asami Nagakiya, was strangled and her body dumped under a tree at the Queen’s Park Savannah. To date, her killer has not been found.
This fear factor was confirmed yesterday by ace pan arranger Len ‘Boogsie’ Sharpe and Yoichi Watanabe, a Japanese who teaches music technology and audio engineering at the University of Trinidad and Tobago (UTT).

Ah still say that MASSIVE should not have sang "ROWLEY MUDDAH COUNT" instead he should have sang "ROWLEY MURDAH COUNT" -- he might ah win with my version of the song and it would have been less offensive and people would have done the same translation when they sing it.
POLICE ENGINE ON STALL

We can't blame Rowley, he met failing systems that trickled down and I believe too much for the locals to manage.
They did not blank carnival in 2017, there is no difference this year.
Very sickening and sad. Nobody cares. Is we time now.
"Checks with sources at the Homicide Bureau of Investigations revealed that Asami’s case is still very much active, but no new leads have been forthcoming ...[NOBODY EH CALL]."
