Junior Panorama payments, please!

Practice for Junior Panorama has begun, yet prize money for the 2014 winners have not been distributed!  The prize money for these competitions is supposed to be provided by the Ministry of Education. More than ten months after playing their hearts out, not to mention the many weeks of intense practice and sacrifice, the children have not been given their just dues.

Now, with preparation for the 2015 competition having started, school pan ensembles who were depending on their winnings to provide the start-up funds have nothing and will have to beg parents and other benefactors for help. The entire effort that goes into producing the final act on stage is tremendous; this includes a lot of volunteerism from various sources.

The lack of communication from any of the authorities involved shows a lack of concern and respect for all the participants, but in particular, for the children.
