Kano has released two exclusive Spotify Singles recorded at Abbey Road Studios.
The 34-year-old MC has dropped stunning new versions of 'Pan Fried' and 'Ps & Qs' from his acclaimed 2019 album 'Hoodies All Summer', which he laid down at the legendary studio in London with the accompaniment of Ladbroke Grove's full Metronomes steel band and a live brass section.
Kano said: "We're always going for it and trying to raise the bar and achieve more and more and just be as creative as we can.
"So when Spotify called and said, 'Abbey Road, perform a song there.'
"I'm like, 'Cool, what about, a steel pan band and six brass and two percussion?'"
"Visible success is important. It's important to be able to look on the TV and see yourself, turn on the radio and hear yourself.
To see people from where you're from actually becoming successful."
Lord: This is what I have been saying for years ON THIS FORUM about the PAN MUSIC!!!
WHERE IS THE MUSIC? WHERE IS THE PAN STAR? When will I be driving down the road in FOREIGN flipping channels on SIRIUS and suddenly here that piece of GLOBAL PAN MUSIC blasting from the speakers -- played by a TRINIDAD PAN STAR?
Meh clock running out!!!
And the next thing, ah eh hear this music as yet but I like the idea that he added brass. Because after watching that WILSON JEAN-BAPTISTE VIDEO -- the SKY is the LIMIT if we have some good MUSIC DIRECTORS and a DIPLOMATIC PAN STAR in the FRONT!!!.
But ah FORGET!!! PANORAMA starting SUNDAY and we eh have time for THIS KINDA TOPIC or GLOBAL MUSIC PRODUCTION.
Ah voting for ANDREW YANG!!! Last Night he say: We have to MOVE THE CLOCK FORWARD. You can't spend your life LOOKING BACKWARD!!!
