Last year's dissapointing Panorama DVD

I was very disappointed with last year's Panorama DVD ,it seems as if they took a step back in quality.

The performances were the usual high panorama  quality, but the interviews lacked variety, though that's not a big deal.

The actual video , however , appeared to be a straight copy of the CTV broadcast , without even having the live broadcast banners removed from the bottom of the screen.

A steelband performance is an audio visual experience , and it is very annoying when video and audio are out of sink.

That was the case on some of the selections on last year's Panorama DVD, and it was disappointing.

The quality of this year's internet video stream so far has been , well underwhelming, especially the sound.

I hope the webcasts improve , but hey, at least they're free.

The Advance Dynamics DVD however is not cheap , and we should expect a quality product for our money.

    Advance Dynamics produced a 5.1 Surround Sound DVD. I believe they had two DVDs for Panorama last year.

    Not the DVDs only are poor quality but also the CDs. Why can't they put all the large bands on one CD, the medium on another and the small and single on another. We will still buy them on a package. But listening part of the large bands on two CDs is difficult

    What I have found to be annoying, year after year, is that the volume on the DVDs is not at all loud enough. If you forget to turn the volume down after listening you may blow your speakers; or your mind!

    Man listen. The powers that maybe dont even release pass performances of panorama. If they do is some shitty quality on youtube. They talking about copyrights, man listen so much musical entertainment does go on through out the world and you can view these performances on certain websites. Semi finals done and up to now we can't even see videos of most of the bands . Why dem only holding back the culture dread. Let the people see it the videos. They say live feed but we have to listen and jump from station to station. Anyway I feel your pain dread and good luck with that we cause dem people only about money and not letting the international audience or even we back home for the most part see anything live. Bunch ah IMPS we (hope ah spell that right) lmao
