I loved hearing from Geoffrey Holder. He is one of my all time Trini heros.

Most Americans remember him from the "Un Cola" Seven Up ads.

Iinterestingly, he also portrayed Baron Samedi in the James Bond movie,"Live and Let Die"
I applaud Mr. Holder's bold description of our Haitian brothers and sisters, and how they 'inspire' him! So often Haitians are castigated. And here's a gentleman who is not afraid of Blackness, to the point of being 'purple' but instead Geoffrey additionally remarked on how "Handsome" Hector Hyppolite was.

So Cool!

An 'artisan' is: a carpenter, plumber, mechanic, mason etc. Holder is a legendary 'artist'.
