Happy Belated Birthday to Dr. Len “Boogsie” Sharpe. I listened to Dr. Sharpe playing ‘Woman is Boss’ by Denise Plummer on TTT and his playing, touch and delivery were glorious. He played the double second pan and was utilizing the accompaniment technique. This technique is where a pan soloist plays the melody of a tune and accompanying himself or herself melodically or harmonically at the same time. I want you to know that the same gift that Mozart, Beethoven and others had, Dr. Sharpe has it also. Dr. Sharp is not only an asset to Trinidad and Tobago but also to the world.
