... and I wish that that there was more FOLLOW UP. Because I spent the last week thinking about EVOLUTION and RACISM after seeing the responses to that topic.
There really cannot be a WINNER in that debate because the RESEARCH is too EXPANSIVE and the HISTORY too UNDOCUMENTED.
The history of PAN goes back to the FORTIES and we cannot get that right ... and the MOORS invaded SPAIN in 711 -- so how are we going to argue that history when the DEFINITION of "AFRICAN" is separated from GEOGRAPHIC REALITY because of EVOLUTION and RACISM.
All over the world, SKIN COLOR and RACISM have been TOXIC stimulants for HATRED -- while most people in the world still refuse to accept the fact that the HUMAN RACE had it origins in AFRICA and the subsequent MIGRATION out of AFRICA resulted in the variations of the species that we see today -- because of climatic conditions and the challenges of migration.
THE HUMAN RACE did not CHOOSE EVOLUTION -- EVOLUTION CHOSE THE HUMAN RACE!!!
But all I really care about is for SOME TRINIDADIANS to make some GLOBAL PAN MUSIC ... and I feel that i know why PAN MUSIC never went SOUTH and will have a REAL HARD TIME GOING SOUTH. (It has to do mostly with SOCIETAL EVOLUTION -- a bit of ABRAHAM MASLOW here -- but that is another brutal debate ... just like the side effects of HUMAN EVOLUTION.)
WHERE IS THE MUSIC? That is all I really care about!!!
