There is a lot of dissaproval over the government decision th water down PAN IN THE CLASSROOM in T&T. I think it's time for WST members to come up with a plan to let the government know we are not going to stand-by and watch this happen.

I am happy that the government has decided to back off and allow Pan to remain in the classroom. However it is very disappointing to see that when we ask our members to come together organize and stand for a cause we get little support. We can talk a good fight but when time come to fight no one want to get involve. To me WHEN STEEL TALKS is not only when the pan is talking but also when pan people lift their voices to defend the Pan. I hope when next pan people are ask to LIFT EVERY VOICE we will all come together and H O L L A.
You think they are listening? lol. The agents on WST are sending FEEDBACK!!! That's the POWER of OUR VOICES! Oh, and Pan Trinbago is aware of my efforts to hold them accountable, and expose their shortcomings, and ill-advised decisions. They don't like me, but they do respect me. Although, they may not admit it. REMEMBER: I always have inside information; they are NOT the only ones with loyal followers.

Cecil sometimes just the presence and knowledge of the existence of a massive army is enough for the opposition to choose not fight "today" or rethink its position. Waking up the sleeping giant is not healthy. 10,000 plus members on WST is a force to reckon with just by its actuality. Without WST, your voice would be labeled as a powerless madman talking to the wind. With WST your voice is now a potential agitator with a massive sympathetic audience. Maybe the government strategically didn't want things to get to the "Holla" stage - this time.

Point taken my Brother but I felt that reducing the role of the pan in the classroom was a good enough reason to "Holla"
WST is like a large mac truck. The key was just placed in the ignition. The engine wasn't even on yet. No one wants to get hit by a truck. I am continually surprised by not just by the numbers of WST members, but who they are. I suspect the government will still try to dismantle the pan in schools program under the guise of something else. They just won't do it broad daylight.
The government showed exactly what their agenda was when they implemented that corrupt 2 million carnival payoff a couple of years ago. Check what the Chutney winners got the year before the 2million and check what the panorama champ got the year before the 2million. Do the math. That was a worst rip than Wall Street. No one should be surprised that there was an attempt shut down the Pan in Schools Program. They just got bold and careless after the successful panorama scam they ran two years ago.

Bugs, I think it's more like a 10K passenger Greyhound bus, where most are just along for the ride, and if we are not careful in picking the right drivers, we could end up in a ditch. If we do not have a roadmap, then we may spend forever trying to reach our intended destiny. (Hence the reason I created a "Blueprint".) Try getting your GPS to navigate you to your final destination, without giveing it your point of origin.
