Dalton,
I would like to thank you for your production of Mas Man, which I saw at the Public Library in Ottawa, Canada, on August 25, 2011. I was spellbound. My idea of Carnival is to purchase a costume and have a good time. But I found the view behind the scene fascinating. Thank you for your timely work. When will your next film be available? I wish you the best of everything in all your future endeavours. Thank you ***Cindy***
Congrats to you Dalton on receiving this special award. I trust that there will be more.

Sam:
Much appreciation for the compliment. I hope there'll be more myself, because we're releasing a 2-hour DVD, more than twice the length of the current version, in a month or so. It's titled Mas Man (The Complete Work). Then we plan to pare it down to 86 minutes to satisfy TV programmers. The aim is to get it screened principally on Public Television, the Holy Grail for documentaries, HBO notwithstanding.
Always glad to hear from you, Sam.

I had the pleasure of viewing the final cut of this fantastic production, and it is must see viewing for all Caribbean carnival and culture lovers out there.
Apart for the insights offered into the life and career of the remarkable Mr Minshall, there is enough mas and music in this movie to satisfy one's craving for a taste of Minshall's work, and for a sample of Trinidad's carnival.
An impressive movie by the multifaceted Mr Narine, who, in spite of his impressive resume, remains as humble and accessible as ever.
A true Trini that I'm proud to call a friend.
Congratulations on your work and accomplishments, Dalton Narine.

I just wrote to Sam, whom I know well. We literally grew up together. I'll send you the same message because it's how I feel about the work this very minute.

I've been working on this new production for the past three weeks. Will stay in touch after we finally wrap it. FINALLY!
Tony:
Just holding up my end for the culture. It rich too bad and we must cherish it and allow it to spread its wings.
Cheers.
