Celebration of Women and the Steelpan Art Form
Toronto, Canada - “Being a member of Panatics Steelband Network is being part of a family. We vary in ages and we have siblings, mothers and their children, and friends. We look out for each other by keeping in touch outside of practice. We celebrate each other’s accomplishments and support each other in times of sadness. Steelpan can quite probably be described as “her rock.” Pleased as punch to sometimes have the opportunity to play alongside her daughter and son in Canada’s Panatics Steelband Network, Cheryl Cummins-Holder is also the Public Relations Director for the music organization.
