And similar to countless others, whose hearts have been pierced by the intoxicating sound delivered by the Percussion Gods through this instrument - for world-renowned percussionist Jonathan Haas it was and is, a lifetime love affair.

This is excellent. The panist now has some very interesting music educational choices. The serious introduction of a school like NYU into the steelpan education forum will have a profound impact on the pan landscape. The added advantage of having the big New York panorama bands in the mix could lead to a special situation.
