Meet Kayleigh Lewis
|
London, U.K. - “Pan links everybody together from all over the world and to know I have family in Trinidad, Japan, and Guadeloupe amongst other places, makes me know I have many places to stay if I want to travel the world. I am proud to belong to something. Some people don’t have one family so I feel spoilt to have a few. To be able to connect to people through music is a wonderful feeling.” She is truly a stellar practitioner of the performing arts. A comic and musician who is more than up for the joys and challenges of being an intercontinental pan player. Now a champion with two of the world’s premiere standout steel orchestras, Kayleigh Lewis shares her feelings, experiences, expectations and concerns for the Steelband music art form and more. |
