To ALL My Pan Colleagues,
This week I got the disturbing news that my FMU Jazz Instructor, Melton Mustafa, needs our help. Doc, as I call him, is one of the most dedicated music teachers I have ever had the pleasure of being taught by. His students include Leon "Foster" Thomas, Liam Teague, and Freddie Harris, and I am sure they will ALL tell you how caring, loving, and dedicated Melton Mustafa is. I plead to your kindness, empathy, and decency, to donate as much as you can to assist with this urgent need. Doc is a very humble man, and this is something he kept secret from us, which is not surprising, as he is fiercely independent, and would not want ANYONE feeling sorry for him. We need to help our father, our teacher, our imam, our friend, our brother. PLEASE go to the website NOW, and help give Doc the resources he would need for the fight of his life. I sincerely thank you, and wish you ALL the BEST OF HEALTH.
