Ah know one thing that I will never see in my life again: And that is PANORAMA in NOVEMBER & DECEMBER. Yet, I don't BLAME THE BEV -- outside of her POLITICAL AMBITIONS. But I blame people like BERTEL GITTENS and CECIL HINKSON and EARL RICHARDS and THE TREASURER and THE VEE PEE (she still eh fire him yet, Gregory?) and DENISE HERNANDEZ and THE ERO and all the other SHEEP FOLLOWERS.
Is no way that BEVERLEY could UNDERSTAND THAT (TRINIDAD) CULTURE. That is like me going up in a FAVELA in RIO and drinking and laughing with DEM BRAZILIANS and when the CACHACA get in meh head -- I start thinking that I suddenly understand THE BRAZILIAN CULTURE as much as dem.
A man [or a woman in this case] has got to know his/her LIMITATIONS. (Right Clint Eastwood?)
So with CONSULTANTS like those listed above (with friends like those THE BEV don't need no enemies), THIS ALL YEAR PANORAMA was destined to be ANOTHER FINANCIAL FAILURE for PAN TRINBAGO.
And to add INSULT TO INJURY -- THE BEV let her EGO get ahead of her and she started a war with THE DOLLY. (PURSE STRING DOLLY!!!) I still cannot PUT THAT IN CONTEXT except to go back and put my lens on THE BEV where she sees herself as MINISTER OF HEALTH, CULTURE, SOCIAL SERVICES, TOURISM, GLOBAL STEELBAND and YOUTH DEVELOPMENT -- all wrapped into one.
In reality though, THE BEV is JUST THE PRESIDENT of a BANKRUPT LOCAL PAN ORGANIZATION which is a DEPENDENT, POLITICAL ARM of THE RULING GOVERNMENT -- never to gain FINANCIAL INDEPENDENCE during the lifetime of any member of THIS FORUM ... but always guaranteed to be going CAP IN HAND to BEG THE DOLLY or the next MINISTER OF CULTURE for the NEXT HANDOUT to stage the NEXT PANORAMA ... while boasting to their SHEEP FOLLOWERS how they are going to REBUILD PAN TRINBAGO.
