I was seated high up in the stands in front of the stage.
Band #1 is announced...
Sticks 'n Tones are dressed in light blue tee shirts.
They perform as a large band and leave the stage and proceed to the back of the backdrop advertisement.
The pans stay in position.
Band #2 is announced...
Steel Away walks on with a smaller number of players all wearing black tee shirts. then the instruments are moved off the stage.
Band #3 was announced...
Miami Vibez bringing their instruments.. wearing black tee shirts.
There is a moment of silence to honor the owner. IVAN GARIB who had passed away the week before.
Band #4 was announced...
New Generation Branches brought their instruments on and did their rendition displaying their band logo prominently on royal blue tee shirts.
Suddenly all the huge spotlights used for games came on and the crowd made a huge cry out.
That signaled the Trinidad All Stars was about to perform.
the players had floral shirts and played a number of renditions.
the signature tune, Woman on the Bass was great, as always.
people were so mesmerized they stayed sitting.... while holding up their cell phones.
