Listen...Gee we all the money
Doh be so blasted ming pilling
Or else we not singing
1.5 cyar even pay for tent rental
So no money, no taste of carnival
We want the whole 30 million
Or else all them pods will have no one
We accustomed to free state funding
For all expenses, fetting and everything
Last year we get blank , we eh get nothing
We due for a make-up , back pay or something

We could sing to the empty chairs in attendance
After all is we 'culchure' and is we thing

No tent , no woodford square free lunch time show

Tell Short-man to find the money with haste
Or else the carnival taste will end up a waste
Calypso does prop up Dimanche gras every year
One year had no calypso there, and it was too boring to bear.
30 million is nothing at all to spend on carnival
Because last time it cost more than 100 million
Search and find it or borrow it with speed on
Cut school feeding ,road patching or something
Forget about Covid that is nothing
But gi we all the money, or no singing
