  • Congratulation to Mr Jules on being the recipient of this award.

  • I wish to thank the T&T Folk Arts Institute for honouring Pan pioneer Neville Jules he is one the unsung heroes of the Pan fraternity. Repeated efforts by Tinidad All Stars to bring national recognition to this treasure among treasures in the pan world has gone by the wayside.

  • Congrats to Mr Jules for his devotion to the art form.. Mr Grant, the names you mentioned deserve all the accolades too. Don't even go there . Their records speak volumes and Mr Jules would be the first to say so.
    •       Sorry to have ruffled your feathers. If you look at my comment you will realize that nothing derogatory was said about the mentioned pannists. My position remains the same.Neville Jules is ,to me the greatest of them all and he deserves substantially more recognition. • Congrats to Sir Neville Jules.  Heard him for years through his music but I met him personally for the first time last year, near to All Stars on the track(Finals).  A great man and a national hero.  May the Good Lord richly bless and keep him.

  •        A King has no honour  in his own land.I was in Trinidad the week after Carnival and there was a display at the Airport

Ellie, Bertie, Jit, Tony, and a bunch of the usual suspects were on display, recognized  for their contribution to pan.      .

The Grand Potentate of pan Sir Neville Jules was, as usual, left out. Well I am damn fed up of the treatment meted out

          to this humble genius.

I am70 years young . I was born at#69 Duke St, directly opposite the mighty and invincible All Stars pan yard, and

until one of the aforementioned can reproduce on the road--aCara nome--In a Persian Market-- or my  favouriteTales

of Vienna Woods, please give Neville his just rewards and recognition.

         Congratulations Sir Neville.   D-Mato.

  • Early Congrats to Mr. Neville Jules. I was listening to an All Stars recording of Mr. Jules arrangements of 10 plus years ago. This man is a genius to produce that kind of music when he was in his late 70's.  Younger arrangers should listen to how he structured his music.
